One of West Michigan Offshore's two premier events, Rock the Coast has grown from a small event with 25 boats three years ago to a nationally-recognized run attracting more than 100 boats in 2017. From the Friday night party at the Grand Haven Municipal Marina to the action-packed run on Saturday, RTC is open to all boaters regardless of boat size, speed, or worth. Please see information below for details on events, registration, and much more.

Whether you got a slip or not, be sure to come to the marina on the Friday night of the event to hang out!
Saturday Run and Lunch Information
Departing from Grand Haven, the boats will leave in three groups according to their anticipated cruising speed. To lengthen the run, boats will first make their way towards Muskegon, turning around just before the pier heads. They'll then make their way to the Holland channel, proceeding to the end of Lake Macatawa, arriving at Boatwerks Waterfront Restaurant.
A delicious meal will be served (menu and price to be announced at a later date) for all those who have wristbands, which can be purchased through the registration process.
After lunch, boats will proceed to Port Sheldon, which is located half way in between Grand Haven and Holland. A raft up party (which has attracted between 40 and 60 boats the last couple of years) will occur, dispersing at 4:30pm.
All WMO events (unless otherwise noted) are members only. If you're not a WMO member, register today for only $95!
Captain's registration for Rock the Coast will open on March 15, 2018. Although WMO has arranged significantly more seating space at Boatwerks than last year, this event will again most likely have to be capped.
Children and guests are more than welcome to participate at no cost, provided they have also completed the passenger registration form (opening shortly before the event). Please keep in mind that WMO members who have not registered may not participate due to safety and liability concerns.
